Production Manager – Martz Technologies
Martz Technologies is seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Manager to oversee our Control Panel Fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, adaptable individual who can manage shifting customer demands while maintaining a well-organized and efficient production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate production activities, ensuring that the team meets company cost, quality, and quantity goals.
- Manage the organization and upkeep of the production environment, including maintaining tools, restocking, and standardizing consumables and supplies.
- Review preliminary wiring diagrams for accuracy and compliance with 508a UL code before release to production.
- Work closely with the Managers and Engineers to schedule and prioritize production orders, ensuring that staffing levels and equipment resources meet customer demand deadlines.
- Ensure all production goals, including time and financial budgets, are met.
- Serve as the final checkpoint for product quality, ensuring that control panels meet the highest standards before release.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Assess the skill levels of the assembly team and determine training needs for Automation Technicians and other production staff.
- Mentor and guide newer team members as they develop the skills necessary to excel in control panel fabrication.
- Foster a team-oriented environment, balancing individual responsibility with collaborative work.
Technical Expertise & Support:
- Support project and process execution, including limited project management activities.
- Provide hands-on fabrication, wiring, and I/O testing for process control panels and systems.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP (current good manufacturing processes) throughout production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control panels, working with variable frequency drives, motor starters, HMIs, PLCs, and other components.
Onsite Installation & Support:
- Occasionally perform control panel installations and configurations at customer facilities, assisting with wire terminations and equipment setup.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field (Electrical, Engineering, or similar). Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in production or electrical control panel fabrication preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a team.
- Strong technical knowledge in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics.
- Familiarity with UL 508a standards.
- Hands-on experience with electrical components like VFDs, motor starters, HMIs, and PLCs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Applicants permanent residence must be within 60 min of Berwick, PA.
